“Lookit that watercolor sky,” I once said. I’ve learned to see the natural world better since beginning in watercolor more than twenty years ago. The challenges, the humility, the constant experimentation are the heart of my artistic growth and vision.
“Art” is a short word for “always learning.” Some landscapes and ideas seem to beckon for possibilities for different mediums to express their nature, reveal their texture, tell their story. That’s why the more I’ve learned about watercolor, I’m also working in oils and acrylics.
